Fireworks for Sale in Norris Green

Norris Green is in north Liverpool, and like the rest of the city it is covered from the shop out at Prescot. This page is about the parts of the range that have nothing to do with November at all, alongside the ones that have everything to do with it.

Fireworks that work in daylight

Most of what we sell needs the dark. A few things do not. Our 9 smoke grenades burn a dense column of coloured smoke and are made to be seen in full sun, which is why they turn up at afternoon weddings and at photographs rather than at night. The 6 gender reveal fireworks do the same job with one colour and a good deal more ceremony.

Both are bought all year round in a way the rest of the range is not, and neither has anything to do with Bonfire Night.

Rockets and wheels

When it is dark, the 29 rockets and rocket packs are the oldest idea in the shop and still among the most popular: one goes up, one thing happens, everyone looks up. Buying them as a pack rather than singly is how most Norris Green customers do it. Our 3 wheels are the opposite sort of firework, fixed to a post and spinning in place, and they draw more comment than almost anything else because so few people expect them.

Rockets are also the easiest part of the range to buy badly, in the sense that a dozen of them lit one after another is a thinner evening than most people imagine before they try it. They do their best work punctuating something else rather than carrying the whole display, which is the sort of thing worth asking about at the counter.

The rest of the year

New Year’s Eve, Diwali, birthdays and weddings all come through the shop, and 102 of our 193 fireworks are new for 2026, so a display put together this year will not be the one you watched last. Whatever the occasion, the full range is open to Norris Green.

Before you set off

The counter’s hours are in the panel on this page rather than in this sentence, because they change through the season and a sentence does not. For a gender reveal or a wedding, which tend to be planned weeks out rather than days, it is worth a conversation well before the date rather than a dash the morning of it.
