Fireworks For Sale in Horwich

There are four price bands on this site and they are not just a filter. Each one holds a different kind of firework, and knowing which band your evening belongs in narrows 174 pieces down to a few dozen faster than anything else on the site.

The four, and what is in them

All Fireworks Under £20 holds 37 pieces. This is the band of single items — one fountain, one candle, a packet of sparklers, one small barrage. Almost nothing here is a whole evening on its own, and almost everything here is something an evening needs.

All Fireworks £20 - £50 is the largest band at 62 pieces, and it is where most displays are actually built. A barrage from this band is the standard unit of a back-garden evening: big enough to be the thing people look up at, small enough that three or four of them is a sensible order.

All Fireworks £50 - £100 holds 34. These are the pieces bought one or two at a time to be the centre of a display rather than the body of it — the longer barrages and the heavier cakes.

All Fireworks £100 and over holds 43, which is more than most people expect. This band is not simply bigger versions of the one below: it is where the bundles and the multi-piece sets live, so one item here is frequently a whole running order rather than a single firework.

How to use them

Work downwards rather than upwards. Decide roughly what the evening is worth to you, open the band that fits, and look at what is in it — rather than starting from the whole catalogue and filtering until something looks affordable. The bands are built so that each one answers a different question, and the question is usually "what is this piece for" rather than "what does it cost".

The most common mistake is spending the whole budget in one band. An evening built only from the top band tends to be three enormous things and several long gaps. One large piece from the top and the rest from the middle is the shape that most often works.

Worth asking before you order

Bands move as prices do, and a piece can sit near the edge of one. If something is close to a boundary and the band matters to you, ask — and ask too about the buy-one-get-one group, because what it does to the arithmetic depends entirely on which band you are shopping in.
